THE START UP
Education: After a degree in Physics and Chemistry at the Cheikh Anta DIOP University of Dakar in 1994, Mr. Alla Séne GUEYE went to Canada where he successively obtained a BBA in Finance & Accounting (1997) and an MBA in Finance (1999) at Laval University in Canada.
Experience in Senegal: Upon his return to Senegal in 1999, Mr. Gueye, 27 years old, served as DGA from 1999 to 2003 in the Sahel Gaz Senegal family company (FCFA 3 billion FCA).
In the context of his employer activities, Mr. Alla Séne GUEYE sat for two years on the boards of directors of IPRES and CSS and produced several publications when he held the position of President of the Economic and Financial Commission of the Senegalese bosses CNES “National Confederation of Enterprises of Senegal” between 2000 and 2003.
Sub-regional experience: Panafricanist convinced, Mr. Gueye started activities in West Africa playing a role of 1st Plan in the creation and 4 industrial companies in the sub-region: SIGAZ Mali in 2004 with 1.2 billion FCFA SIGAZ Burkina in 2007 for 0.9 billion FCFA and Coumba Gaz Mali in 2009 for 0.5 billion FCFA. Mr. Gueye served as Managing Director of SIGAZ Mali from 2004 to 2009.
In February 2010, Mr. creates AIG Sa, which today has a registered capital of 500,000,000 Fcfa with a turnover of 2 billion Fcfa and a client portfolio composed of Shippers and Chargers of international renown).
“Warehousing ecosystems” projects in the new city of Diamniadio: Mr. Gueye wants to build on his knowledge of the sub-region, to create an integrated Regional Logistics Hub for cereals and agricultural inputs in the Urban Pole of Diamniadio . Integrated logistics and warehousing solutions upstream and downstream of warehousing will be offered as part of a true storage ecosystem
